With all of the factors that go into the moving process, it can be easy to misplace or lose important essentials that you need. From bills to products, it is important to stay organized so  you will be able to find what you need, when you need it. One of the easiest ways to make sure you have an organized move is to do good, detailed planning in advance of your move. You will be amazed at how far planning goes in helping you to have organizational success during your move.

If you are in the process of planning a move, and you want to stay organized, consider some of the following tips:

Bills
Keeping up with your bills is especially important during a move because you want to make sure that you keep your payments current, as well as keep track of when bills are being mailed and sent out. Whether you have the option to pay your bills online or you pay them by phone or mail, there are still issues that can arise in either case that can cause your bills to be delayed.

With internet, mail and phone interruptions often an issue during moves, plan in advance to make arrangements for your bills. Notify your creditors that you will be moving on a certain date. If the moving date falls on the same day your bills are due, check to see if your due date can be adjusted or try to pay a little earlier if you can. Again the key is planning in advance so you can stay organized and keep your bills current.

Have your mail forwarded to your new address so that you know you are receiving your bills in a timely manner. If you have bills that are already received, pack them in a separate box and keep them with you during the moving process. This will allow you to find and retrieve your bills quickly after your move. By following these simple tips, you will save time and money and stay organized in the process.

Clothes
If you are moving, and you want to stay organized, set aside outfits to wear during and after your move. Whether you plan for a few days or for a week, you will appreciate being able to find what you need to wear without having to search through boxes of clothes and shoes while you settle in.

A good idea is to set aside a couple of casual moving outfits, as well as a couple of dressier, work outfits so that if you are returning to work the next day after your move, you will have immediate access to what you need.

Remember to include additional items such as hair styling tools and personal care products in the items you set aside. This will help you to stay organized and functional during your move, as well as move or work ready.

Medicine
Maintaining proper health is important during your move, and so is organizing a place for your medicine. Whether the medication is for you, a family member or a pet, it is important to make sure that your medication is accessible and not packed away where you cannot find it.

Prior to your move, prepare a moving bag designated for your medical needs, and keep it with you during the move. Since moving can be hectic and time consuming, make sure you keep up with your medication times so that you stay healthy and well during the moving process.
