Storing holiday decorations can be tricky, especially if you’re short on space. Every year homeowners are faced with the challenge of fitting all of their holiday décor in a small storage area. To solve this problem, here are 7 tricks for maximizing space when packing up all of these holiday items.
- Stack Up
Plastic containers are an excellent option for storing holiday decorations because they are sturdier than cardboard boxes, they come in a variety of sizes, and they can easily be stacked on top of one another. Make use of this nifty storage solution and save space in your closet or attic by stacking plastic containers.
- Use Hangers
Believe it or not there are several holiday decorations that can be stored using hangers. Wreaths, bows, garland, and even wrapping paper (stored in a garment bag) can be hung in closets or on clothing racks making more room on the floor for other bulkier decorations.
